Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Climate Risk Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying assessing and managing climaterelated risks across our organization. This is a critical role that will help us navigate the challenges and opportunities presented by climate change.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Climate Risk Assessment: Conduct climate risk assessments to identify potential risks and opportunities for the organization.
2. Risk Management: Develop and implement climate risk management strategies to mitigate potential risks.
3. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders including business leaders risk managers and sustainability teams to ensure climaterelated risks are integrated into business decisionmaking.
4. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with climaterelated regulations and reporting requirements.
5. Climate Scenario Analysis: Conduct climate scenario analysis to inform strategic decisionmaking and risk management.
6. Reporting and Monitoring: Develop and maintain climaterelated risk reporting and monitoring frameworks.
7. Training and Capacity Building: Provide training and capacitybuilding programs for employees on climaterelated risks and opportunities.
Requirements:
1. Education: Bachelors degree in Environmental Science Business Administration Finance or related field. Masters degree or professional certification (e.g. CFA FRM) preferred.
2. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in climate risk management sustainability or environmental finance.
3. Skills: Strong analytical and problemsolving skills excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
4. Knowledge: Strong understanding of climaterelated risks and opportunities familiarity with climate scenario analysis and risk management frameworks.
