An engineering supervisor is responsible for monitoring the engineering operations of an organization developing strategic processes and techniques to improve staffs performance and facilitating training and programs to maximize productivity. Engineering supervisors evaluate technology procedures and reports to identify and design new opportunities that would generate more resources for revenues and profits. Utilize education and experience in the efficient operation maintenance and repair of the physical plant structure utility services equipment fixtures and furnishings for the hotel facility and associated buildings
KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- You are required to work a 48 hours per week
- You are required to take 15 minutes breakfast half an hour for lunch each day at the Staff canteen 15 minutes tea break half an hour for dinner
- You are required to take proper care of all material and tool.

- Should be able to implement and follow preventive maintenance on the equipment that are assigned in your field of operation

- Should have proper control and monitoring of the tools equipment and materials to complete the job in a safe and efficient manner.
- Monitors jobs to ensure quality and compliance with job standards
- Maintain all the service records and the logbooks.
- Maintains the cleanliness of the workspaces and ensures the safety of all the tools
- Achieves the tasks which are entrusted to him by the management.
- Recommends improvements changes or new techniques and procedures
- Attends all safety and security trainings adheres and obeys to all resort policies and procedures
- Coordinates activities with other department and outside contractors
- Recommends the proper material for repairing and maintenance.
- Ability to work extended hours as and when required.
- Take part in all preventive maintenance Breakdown maintenance and Troubleshooting of all equipment in the assign fields
- Supervise and coordinate the work of the resort and contract person involved in project and Routine maintenance of the electrical equipment related to Fire safety Spa and General electrical Equipment.
- Inspect the complete work progress through site visit and review of work record to ensure proper and timely execution.
- Quick serve for emergency call other than preventive maintenance and Breakdown maintenance.
- Maintain the Daily work progress in a log sheet
- The team leader has the responsibilities for training and development of the employees.
- Make accurate estimate of work time and material needed for installation and repair.
- Monitor staff attendance and leave record
- Plan and supervises the day to day Activities according to Manpower and Equipment.
- Clear and welldefined instruction to the subordinate.
- Develop and maintain effective working relation with other department and public.
- Takes part in the meetings of the Engineering department.
- Attends all trainings performed at the resort general and departmental.
- Attends all safety and security trainings adheres and obeys to all resort policies and procedures

SKILLS & ABILITIES (REQUIRED TECHNICAL/FUNCTIONAL SKILLS)
- Sound knowledge in electrical/mechanical engineering
- Certificate/diploma in related field
- Knowledge in basic health and safety related to this field and you are require to abide to.

Qualifications :
QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma or Trade Certificate in area of expertise
- Minimum 3 years experience in hospitality industry and engineering experience with two years in a management capacity
