Job Description
Job Title: Functional Safety Expert Product Manager / Tech Lead / FUSA Engineer
Location: Bangalore
Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Functional Safety Expert with a strong automotive background to join our team as a Product Manager. The ideal candidate will have over 412 years of experience in functional safety and a proven track record in managing automotive products. This role requires a deep understanding of automotive safety standards exceptional leadership skills and the ability to drive product development from concept to launch.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead functional safety initiatives for automotive products ensuring compliance with ISO 26262 and other relevant standards.
- Define product vision strategy and roadmap while collaborating with crossfunctional teams to ensure successful product development and launch.
- Conduct safety risk assessments hazard analyses and develop/implement safety concepts to mitigate risks.
- Work closely with engineering design and quality assurance teams to integrate safety requirements into product designs.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive safety documentation including safety plans safety cases and verification reports.
- Interface with customers to understand safety requirements and provide technical support and guidance.
- Stay updated with advancements in automotive safety technologies and standards implementing best practices to enhance product safety and reliability.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Automotive Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: At least 412 years of experience in functional safety within the automotive industry.
- Certifications: Certification in Functional Safety (e.g. ISO 26262) is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills:
- Indepth knowledge of ISO 26262 ASPICE and safety analysis techniques like FMEA and FTA.
- Proficiency in safetycritical system development.
- Indepth knowledge of ISO 26262 ASPICE and safety analysis techniques like FMEA and FTA.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead crossfunctional teams and manage complex projects.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to nontechnical stakeholders.
