The Executive Assistant Manager (Rooms and Recreation) reports to the Director of Operations and is responsible for the overall success of the hotels rooms and recreation departments. This includes overseeing the front office teams guest services housekeeping welcome team golf/spa teams resort transportation and all those involved in recreational activities throughout the resort ensuring that all guests receive exceptional service whilst maximizing the divisions financial performance.
What you will be doing:
- Oversee the daytoday operations of all Rooms and Recreational Departments including Front Office Housekeeping Spa and Golf.
- Maximizing the hotels financial returns through continuously monitoring financial performance and profitability
- Driving the development of people through training and coaching in conjunction with the Quality / Guest Experience Team
- Maintaining consistent brand standards and service delivery at all times
- Ensuring all legal and regulatory requirements at meet
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that all guests receive exceptional service. This includes adhering to all brand standards outlined by Fairmont
- Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests team members and hotel assets in compliance with the hotels or owners policies and procedures and regulatory requirements
- Recruit train and develop all rooms and recreation leadership team members on an ongoing consistent basis
- Work in conjunction with the Executive Assistant Manager for Food and Beverage to create and deliver a seamless guest experience as well as drive overall total hotel revenue and profitability
- Represent the division at hotelwide meetings and committees
- Function as a key member of the hotel Executive Committee and leadership team.
Qualifications :
Your experience and skills include:
- 5 years of experience in rooms and guest services management or similar leadership role
- Degree in Hospitality Management preferred
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to develop and implement creative service initiatives
- Ability to work effectively with a team of professionals
