Job Description
- Location: Tuas
- Working day: 5 days

Job Scopes:
- Performs general maintenance duties as needed.
- Carries out routine upkeep of equipment including cleaning chemical preparation topping up coolant/hydraulic oils and disposing of machining waste.
- Maintains a wellorganized and efficient workspace following 5S principles.
- Ensures all workplace facilities are clean orderly and in working condition.
- Tests and verifies the functionality of safety mechanisms.
- Documents maintenance activities and manages equipment and supply inventory.
- Reports any issues or concerns to the Production Manager.
- Examines and troubleshoots machinery and systems to identify potential faults.
- Ensures that operational procedures align with safety regulations quality standards and internal work instructions.
- Adheres to the companys ethical and operational guidelines.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years in the manufacturing sector with handson experience in facility and machine upkeep.
- At least a Diploma or Certification from a Vocational Technical or Engineering institute specializing in Mechanical Engineering.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Facility and Machine Maintenance Engineer performs equipment setup operation equipment adjustments and minor preventive maintenance tasks to meet all standards for safety quality and efficiency. Responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs basic equipment maintenance like cleaning preparation of chemicals add coolant / hydraulic oils and removal of cutting chips
- Keeps records and maintains equipment and supplies
- Ensures 5S is implemented in the work area
- Ensures all facilities are tidy and functional
- Conduct maintenance tasks
- Check functionality of safety systems
- Report to Production manager for issues
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems
- Ensure that work methods are in adherence to the Safety Guidelines QMS WI and Procedures in place.
- Complies to Company Code of Business Conduct.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
- Must complete minimum training required specified in Employee Qualification and OJT Form No. S 1026F.
- Able to perform the following:
- Experience using hand and electrical tools
- Ability to read and utilize technical manuals and drawings
QUALIFICATION GUIDE
- Education : Minimum Diploma or Certificate from Vocational/Tech/Eng School of Studies in
Mchanical Engineering
- Communication : Able to read converse and interpret in English and Chinese
- Experience : Minimum 35 years experience in Manufacturing Industries with Facility and Machine
Maintenance experience.
- Working condition:
- Able to work after work for any urgent issues
- Able to work in a non airconditioned machine shop
