Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Principal Engineer to lead the design development and optimization of scalable cloudnative SaaS solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in cloud platforms backend development microservices and DevOps practices along with strong leadership and problemsolving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of scalable multitenant SaaS architectures.
- Define best practices for cloudnative software development and DevOps.
- Architect and implement microservices eventdriven systems and serverless solutions.
- Ensure high availability scalability and fault tolerance of applications.
- Optimize database performance using SQL and NoSQL technologies.
- Develop secure RESTful APIs and implement robust authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC) practices.
- Ensure system reliability through observability tools and optimize cloud costs.
- Enforce security best practices and ensure compliance with SOC2 GDPR HIPAA and PCIDSS standards.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and integrate them to improve platform efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 10 years of software engineering experience including 3 years in a Principal/Lead role.
- Cloud Platforms: Strong experience with AWS GCP or Azure.
- Backend Development: Expertise in Java Python Go or Node.js.
- Microservices & Containerization: Proficiency in Kubernetes and containerization technologies.
- Database Management: Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL MySQL DynamoDB and Redis.
- Security: Experience with API security and identity management (OAuth SAML JWT).
- DevOps: Knowledge of CI/CD Infrastructure as Code (Terraform CloudFormation) and observability tools.
- ProblemSolving: Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with AI/MLdriven SaaS solutions.
- Knowledge of asynchronous messaging systems (Kafka RabbitMQ AWS SNS/SQS).
- Exposure to NoCode/LowCode platforms.
- Understanding FinOps and cloud cost optimization strategies.
