Job Description
An assistant sales manager is responsible for creating business opportunities developing customer relationships and managing sales operations. They work closely with sales teams and may also participate in trade shows and industry events.
Responsibilities
- Business development: Create business opportunities provide quotations to new clients and improve market coverage
- Team management: Conduct performance evaluations provide feedback and motivate sales teams
- Sales reporting: Prepare sales reports and present them to management
- Customer relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients resolve complaints and ensure high customer satisfaction
- Sales operations: Generate leads forecast order intake and report lost orders
