Job Description
Job Title: EHR Solutions Architect
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification .
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and architecture of EHR solutions ensuring scalability flexibility and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Develop and maintain highlevel and detailed system architectures and technical documentation.
- Recommend EHR system configurations and integrations that meet business and clinical needs.
- Work closely with healthcare providers clinical staff and IT teams to understand system requirements and user needs.
- Collaborate with business analysts product managers and development teams to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
- Act as a subject matter expert on EHR systems and workflows providing guidance and support to other teams.
- Lead the implementation and integration of EHR solutions within healthcare organizations.
- Ensure seamless integration with existing IT systems including laboratory systems radiology pharmacy and billing.
- Ensure compliance with interoperability standards (HL7 FHIR CCD etc.).
- Ensure EHR systems adhere to healthcare regulations and standards (HIPAA HITECH Meaningful Use etc.).
- Design systems to ensure data security confidentiality and integrity in accordance with best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Continuously assess system performance and make recommendations for improvements and optimizations.
- Provide support during system upgrades patches and troubleshooting of technical issues.
- Provide training and guidance to clinical staff IT personnel and other stakeholders on EHR system usage and best practices.
- Mentor junior architects and team members on EHR system design and implementation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Healthcare IT or a related field.
- Experience in healthcare IT with a focus on EHR systems and solutions.
- Strong understanding of healthcare workflows clinical processes and EHR system functionalities (Epic Cerner Allscripts etc.).
- Expertise in EHR system architecture integration and implementation.
- Knowledge of interoperability standards including HL7 FHIR CDA CCD and other relevant healthcare standards.
- Experience with cloudbased EHR solutions and understanding of cloud computing models (AWS Azure etc.).
- Indepth understanding of healthcare regulations (HIPAA HITECH etc.) and data security requirements.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage complex projects prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Certifications in relevant EHR platforms (Epic Cerner etc.).
- Experience with EHRrelated products and solutions (clinical decision support patient engagement tools etc.).
- Knowledge of data analytics and reporting tools in healthcare IT.
- Experience in Agile and DevOps methodologies.
