Job Description
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage EHR implementation projects from initiation to completion ensuring ontime delivery and within budget.
- Work with clinicians healthcare administrators IT staff and external vendors to define project scope objectives and requirements. Ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Oversee the deployment and integration of EHR systems ensuring they meet functional and technical requirements while minimizing disruptions to patient care.
- Ensure that EHR systems comply with relevant healthcare regulations (e.g. HIPAA HITECH) standards and best practices.
- Coordinate training programs for endusers (clinicians staff) to ensure proper use of the EHR system. Provide ongoing support to address issues or concerns.
- Regularly track project progress identifying risks and issues and provide regular updates to leadership on the status of the project.
- Manage relationships with EHR software vendors ensuring that the system is functioning as expected and addressing any service level issues.
- Promote continuous improvement of EHR systems by analyzing user feedback identifying system enhancements and working with the IT team to implement changes.
- Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration Health Information Management Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience in project management specifically within healthcare IT or EHR systems.
- Proven experience in EHR implementation and support (e.g. Epic Cerner Allscripts etc.)
- Strong project management skills including experience with project management methodologies (e.g. Agile Waterfall).
- Proficient in EHR systems healthcare workflows and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Problemsolving abilities with an emphasis on solutionsoriented thinking.
- Knowledge of healthcare industry standards (e.g. HL7 ICD10 HIPAA) and EHR certifications.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent.
- Experience with EHR data migration optimization and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with interoperability standards and data exchange in healthcare.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
