Job Title: EHR Systems Analyst
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the deployment and integration of EHR systems across various clinical settings.
- Work closely with healthcare providers to understand their workflow needs and ensure the EHR system aligns with these needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the EHR system.
- Monitor system performance and optimize the EHR system for efficiency usability and compliance.
- Provide training to end users (clinicians administrative staff) on the use of the EHR system focusing on best practices and system features.
- Offer technical support and guidance to users for EHRrelated issues.
- Develop and maintain user documentation and training materials.
- Conduct regular system audits to ensure that the EHR system is compliant with relevant healthcare regulations (e.g. HIPAA Meaningful Use).
- Analyze EHR data to generate reports that support decisionmaking and improve clinical operations.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to improve system functionality based on data analysis.
- Collaborate with IT teams clinical staff and other stakeholders to enhance system capabilities.
- Communicate technical information to nontechnical stakeholders in an accessible manner.
- Participate in project planning and implementation discussions for new EHR modules or upgrades.
- Stay uptodate with new EHR technologies and industry trends to suggest improvements.
- Assist in identifying opportunities to enhance the user experience and streamline workflows.
- Participate in user feedback sessions and system evaluation to drive improvements.
Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Healthcare Information Technology Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of X years of experience in EHR systems analysis implementation or support (experience with specific EHR software e.g. Epic Cerner Allscripts preferred).
- Strong understanding of healthcare workflows clinical practices and regulatory compliance (e.g. HIPAA HITECH).
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g. SQL Excel Tableau) is a plus.
- Strong problemsolving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for user training and support.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
- Detailoriented with strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge of EHR regulatory standards and data security practices.
- Familiarity with HL7 FHIR and other healthcare data exchange standards is an asset.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
