Job Description
Job Title : Asphalt / Paving Foreman
Location : Las Vegas NV 89115
Type : Full time Onsite
Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Asphalt/ Paving Foreman to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in asphalt/paving construction with leadership experience in managing crews and projects effectively. As the Asphalt / Paving Foreman you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of asphalt and paving operations ensuring projects are completed safely on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise paving crews including scheduling and assigning tasks.
- Coordinate with superintendents and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
- Monitor work progress quality and safety standards on job sites.
- Operate and maintain paving equipment (skid steer roller paver mill)
- Maintain inventory of material and equipment needed for projects.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of work vehicles and equipment.
- Train and Mentor team members.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in asphalt paving and construction
- Strong knowledge of paving equipment and techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprint plans and project specifications.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- OSHA 30 certification or willingness to obtain one.
- CDL is a plus.
