Job Title: Assistant Manager Inventory
Location: Mumbai Maharashtra

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detailoriented and proactive Assistant Manager Inventory to oversee and manage our inventory operations in Mumbai. The successful candidate will ensure optimal inventory levels accurate tracking and efficient management of stock across our facilities. This role requires strong analytical skills experience in inventory management and the ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inventory Management:
    • Oversee daytoday inventory operations ensuring accuracy in stock levels proper storage and timely replenishments.
    • Conduct regular cycle counts and audits to verify inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Process Optimization:
    • Develop and implement effective inventory control procedures and best practices.
    • Identify areas for process improvement to enhance inventory accuracy and efficiency.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting:
    • Monitor inventory trends analyze data and generate detailed reports on inventory performance.
    • Utilize ERP systems and other tools to forecast demand and optimize inventory levels.
  • Coordination & Collaboration:
    • Work closely with procurement supply chain warehouse and sales teams to ensure smooth operations.
    • Communicate with vendors and suppliers to manage lead times and resolve supply issues.
  • Compliance & Safety:
    • Ensure that inventory practices comply with company policies and industry regulations.
    • Maintain a safe and organized inventory storage environment.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Assist in training and supervising inventory staff.
    • Provide guidance and support to the team to achieve departmental goals.
Qualifications:
  • Education:
    • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics Business Administration or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • A minimum of 35 years of experience in inventory management or a related role preferably in a similar industry.
    • Proven experience with ERP systems and inventory management software.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
    • Detailoriented with strong organizational skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel.
  • Additional Requirements:
    • Familiarity with industry best practices in inventory management.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
    • Willingness to work in a fastpaced environment.
