Job Description

Sr. IT Support Specialist (Orlando Florida)

We are looking for a Sr. IT Support Specialist for a global Technology company. This role will provide technical support to internal staff ensuring that all hardware and software issues are resolved efficiently. Primary responsibilities will include troubleshooting basic technical problems assisting users with ITrelated inquiries and maintaining optimal performance of IT systems.

This is a 6month contract (extensions possible) 40 hr/week 100% onsite in Orlando Florida.

This is a W2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.

Responsibilities:

  • Address technical issues escalated from Level 1 support that require advanced troubleshooting skills.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software problems across various platforms.
  • Perform system updates and configurations to optimize performance and security.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all issues encountered solutions provided and processes followed for future reference.
  • Train Level 1 support staff on common issues and effective troubleshooting techniques.
  • Monitor system performance metrics to identify potential issues before they escalate into major problems.
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation for unresolved or critical incidents that need to be escalated to Level 3 support.

Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience in an IT support role with a focus on troubleshooting complex issues in global companies.
  • Indepth knowledge of operating systems (Windows/Mac) networking principles and common software applications (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite).
  • 2 years of experience supporting various operating systems including Windows macOS and Linux.
  • Proven track record of managing incidents effectively using ITSM tools (e.g. ServiceNow JIRA).
  • ITIL Foundation certification or higher
  • Bachelors degree
