Job Description

The Law Firm is seeking an associate attorney to join the firms veterans benefits practice group in either the Charlottesville or Norfolk Virginia office.

This attorney will represent veterans and their dependents in claims for disability and other benefits before the Department of Veterans Affairs including the Board of Veterans Appeals as well as before the United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. Applicants should have a strong interest in helping disabled veterans with preference given to those with law school clinical experience and/or a history of representing veterans. The position requires excellent writing client communication oral advocacy and analytical skills. Candidates must be organized and have the ability to manage a large caseload and a desire to work in a team environment.
