Job Description

We are seeking candidates with a minimum of three (3) years experience as an attorney in the practice of Family Law. The ideal candidate should have experience handling multiple types of family law cases such as dissolutions property division support custody paternity domestic violence and postjudgment modifications. We are looking for someone who is reliable and committed to providing excellent service to our clients. We believe in autonomy and trust our team to manage their workload ensuring the utmost dedication to our clients regardless of physical location.

Qualifications:

Licensed attorney in good standing with the CA State Bar.

3 years of experience practicing family law.

Courtroom experience including experience handling evidentiary hearings where testimony is taken and Request for Order hearings.

Familiarity with commonly used Family Codes case law and judicial council forms.

Strong legal research and writing skills preparing pleadings to RFOs Declarations and Points and Authorities.

Ability to conduct discovery including propounding written discovery responding to discovery and preparing and responding to discovery motions; familiarity with C.C.P. deadlines and procedures.

Highly organized and able to handle multiple cases.

Skills and software: Must have intermediate to advance knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook Word and Excel) as well as Adobe Acrobat
