Job Description
Description We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced SAP Basis Lead to join our team. As an SAP Basis Lead you will be responsible for managing and supporting the SAP landscape ensuring its smooth operation and optimal performance. You will work closely with crossfunctional teams to develop implement and maintain SAP systems and solutions. This is a challenging role that requires a strong understanding of SAP Basis administration and expertise in SAP technologies. Responsibilities Oversee the overall maintenance and management of the SAP infrastructure including system performance security backup and recovery and troubleshooting Collaborate with various teams to plan design and implement SAP environments and architectures that align with business requirements Lead the installation configuration and upgrade of SAP systems and software components ensuring compliance with best practices and standards Monitor and optimize system performance capacity and availability proactively identifying and resolving issues to minimize disruptions Provide technical guidance and support to team members ensuring their adherence to SAP Basis best practices and guidelines Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation on SAP systems procedures and activities Stay current with industry trends emerging technologies and best practices in SAP Basis administration Requirements Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field Minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP Basis administration with expertise in SAP NetWeaver and SAP HANA Strong knowledge of SAP system architecture landscape design and infrastructure components Proven experience in SAP installation configuration and migration including system upgrades and patch management Deep understanding of SAP Basis best practices security principles and performance optimization techniques Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to effectively troubleshoot and resolve technical issues Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams SAP certifications in Basis administration or related areas are highly desirable Proven experience in leading SAP Basis projects or initiatives is a plus
