Job Description
This role will have a starting salary of 18810
This role requires employees to complete an online Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) including The Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks for criminal convictions.
UKAEAs Apprenticeship Scheme will allow you to gain the technical knowledge practical experience and wider skills and behaviours needed for your immediate job role and future career. The successful apprentice will gain this through the combination of formal offthejob training and the opportunity to apply these skills in a real work environment through onthejob training.
The Role
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference Join our team and contribute to the future of fusion energy. As a Level 3 Apprentice Electrical Engineer you will play a pivotal role in providing mechanical support to Tritium Services Group learning how to design manufacture install and maintain mechanical and electrical services components assemblies and equipment in accordance with current engineering and legislative codes of practice and to provide a resource for ongoing requirement of Engineering and Technical Support to UKAEA site.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Complete national academic qualification as defined by the apprenticeship training standard: Mechatronics Maintenance Technician / Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education
- Attend designated training provider develop and attain a good knowledge of technical skills.
- Represent the UKAEA Organisation and attend external outreach and careers events.
Qualifications :
- 5 GCSES A*C (94) including Maths and English.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate an interest and aptitude for chosen area of work.
