Job Description
Test Rig Development Engineer Defence
Are you an experienced Test Rig Development Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity in the defence sector Were seeking a skilled professional to support cuttingedge projects working across Mechanical Electrical Electronic and Software disciplines.
- Design develop and maintain test rigs integrating mechanical electrical electronic and software components.
- Develop and implement test automation using LabVIEW & TestStand to ensure efficient and repeatable testing.
- Conduct testing and validation of critical systems ensuring compliance with defence and safety standards.
- Work with video and photography equipment to capture and analyze test results enhancing data accuracy and reporting.
- Troubleshoot and optimize test setups diagnosing issues in hardware and software to improve system performance.
- Ensure test environments meet security and compliance requirements particularly within a defence setting.
- Collaborate with crossdisciplinary teams to support system development testing and integration.

Qualifications :
Requirements:
- Handson experience in Test Rig development.
- Proficiency with National Instruments (NI) programmes particularly LabVIEW & TestStand.
- Strong background in video recording/photography for test analysis (highly desirable).
- The ability to be Security Cleared for this is a must.
- Minimum Bachelors Degree in a relevant field i.e. Electrical and Electronics Engineering Mechanical Engineering Systems Engineering.
