Job Description

Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Location: Remote

Role Overview

As a Customer Service Representative you’ll be at the heart of our global operations ensuring seamless support for customers sales teams and internal stakeholders. Your role will involve managing inquiries processing orders resolving issues and upholding a commitment to excellence in customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Order Management: Process and manage customer orders including purchase orders price quotations and status updates using systems such as AS400 ERP webbased queueticketing tools and customer portals.
  • Customer Communication: Provide proactive and professional support via email to customers sales teams and internal departments ensuring smooth operations and timely issue resolution.
  • Problem Solving: Handle and resolve inquiries with efficiency following up on pending tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions to optimize workflows and elevate customer satisfaction.
  • Data Accuracy: Maintain high standards of data accuracy performing heavy data entry and system updates.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with team members across time zones to address challenges and drive seamless operations.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: Proven track record in customer service preferably in remote or international roles.
  • Communication: Advanced English proficiency with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong Microsoft Excel skills (data analysis report creation spreadsheet management). Experience with EDI systems is a plus.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy in data entry and order processing.
  • Adaptability: Ability to multitask prioritize competing demands and work in a fastpaced environment.
  • ProblemSolving: Resourceful and proactive with strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Teamwork: Friendly flexible and adaptable with a proven ability to collaborate effectively.

Education & Experience

  • Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred: College degree and prior experience with AS400 ERP or similar enterprise tools.
