Job Description

This is a remote position.

Position Title: Telephone Canvasser Voter Contact
Job Type: Casual/Contract
Start Date: Immediately
Remuneration: $20.00 per hour
Work Location: Remote (work from home anywhere in Canada)

Position Summary:
nTech Strategies is a leading provider of voter contact and engagement services working with political campaigns electoral district associations and advocacy organizations across Canada. We are looking for energetic progressiveminded individuals to join our team as Voter ID Canvassers working on voter outreach campaigns from the comfort of your own home anywhere in Canada.

As a member of our Voter ID team you will contact voters via phone to gather important insights on key issues affecting local communities. This role does not involve fundraising or sales but instead focuses on understanding voters perspectives on critical issues and building rapport with them. You ll help gather data that informs political campaigns and ensures that elected officials remain connected to the issues that matter most to their constituents.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound calls to voters in specific ridings and engage them in conversations about important issues.
  • Use campaignprovided scripts to ask questions listen to voter opinions and document responses.
  • Help track and manage data collected during conversations to support strategic voter outreach efforts.
  • Work remotely using browserbased software to manage calls no manual dialing required.
  • Collaborate with team members through Slack and participate in regular debriefs to ensure the success of the campaign.

Requirements

Professional Experience & Qualifications:

  • Experience in canvassing outreach or other direct communication roles (sales customer service etc.) is an asset.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong attention to detail especially when recording data.
  • Comfort using technology to manage calls and collect information.
  • Familiarity with Canadian politics social justice issues or political campaigns is a plus.

Personal Qualities:

  • Passionate about social justice and progressive values.
  • Friendly energetic and able to engage people in conversation with ease.
  • Motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Commitment to integrity and ethical behaviour in representing our clients.

Technical Requirements:

  • Reliable computer and highspeed internet access.
