Role: Senior Performance Testing Engineer (Contact Center)
Rate: $75 CAD Inc. per hour
Location: Barrie ON (Hybrid 2 days/week onsite)
Duration: 6 months (potential for extension)
We are seeking a Senior Performance Testing Engineer to join our clients dynamic team. This role is integral to transitioning IVR/Routing applications from legacy systems to the Genesys Platform. Were looking for a professional with a proven track record in performance testing excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering highquality results in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities - Design write maintain and execute performance and load tests using tools like JMeter and HP LoadRunner.
- Develop automated test scenarios comprehensive performance test strategies and detailed documentation for reporting test results.
- Collaborate with project teams to understand system architecture and business requirements creating effective performance test plans.
- Partner with product owners and Scrum Masters to establish clear acceptance criteria for testing.
- Troubleshoot technical issues leveraging your understanding of product technical details.
- Conduct root cause analysis of performance issues with technical teams and recommend solutions.
- Communicate project updates effectively with Dev Leads and Technical Managers through emails reports and meetings.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members on performance and load testing best practices.
- Design and maintain scalable flexible and crossplatform performance test frameworks.
- Continuously improve test case documentation and optimize testing processes with innovative performance testing practices.
Qualifications - 7 years of experience in software engineering with 5 years of demonstrated success in performance testing.
- 3 years of handson experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or similar.
- Expertise in PaaS/SaaS performance testing environments.
- Proven ability to analyze system performance metrics and conduct workload profiling.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey technical details effectively.
- Experience with Genesys Cloud and contact center systems.
Nice to Have - Experience with digital communication channels such as Chat Chatbots Email and SMS.
