About the role
The Aftersales Manager UK Region is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the aftersales engineering team and ensuring the seamless operation and maintenance of over 30 energy storage sites across the UK. This role involves managing a team of skilled engineers fostering a highperformance culture and ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient issue resolution and process optimization. The manager will serve as the primary liaison between customers and the company aligning aftersales services with business objectives and supporting the companys growth strategy. Strong leadership technical expertise and a proactive approach are essential for success in this role.
Work Location: Hounslow London and required to travel within the UK.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of 10 aftersales engineers in the UK including recruitment training and performance evaluations.Foster a collaborative efficient and accountable team culture to achieve high performance.Conduct regular team meetings to monitor progress address challenges and implement solutions.Oversee aftersales operations for over 30 energy storage sites across the UK ensuring timely task completion and adherence to company standards.Collaborate with engineers to resolve onsite technical issues promptly and maintain customer satisfaction.Develop and implement standardized aftersales service processes to optimize efficiency and quality.Drive continuous improvement efforts to reduce rework rates and customer complaints.Serve as the primary point of contact for customers ensuring their needs are met and conducting regular site visits.Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to support the companys business growth and expansion.Align the team with business objectives by planning for resource allocation team development and future growth.Your profile:
Bachelors degree or higher in Engineering Energy Project Management or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in aftersales service management ideally in energy storage or related industries.Proven track record of managing crossregional multiproject teams and solving complex technical and managerial challenges.Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and maintain a cohesive highperforming team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.Proficiency in aftersales processes management tools and strong project management expertise.Familiarity with onsite Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) regulations and management practices in the UK.Ability to work under pressure and provide timely responses to onsite issues.Fluency in English is required; Chinese speakingis an advantage.Demonstrated problemsolving skills attention to detail and a proactive serviceoriented mindset.Has righttowork in the UK.
