Job Summary:
The Lead Engineer will take a leading role in the design implementation and maintenance of a unified observability platform to ensure seamless integration with enterpriselevel monitoring and logging technologies. This role focuses on enhancing system visibility and performance across the organization while collaborating with product teams to address their observability needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and architect a unified observability platform that integrates various monitoring and logging technologies.

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand their observability requirements and provide tailored solutions.

Evaluate and prototype new observability technologies to enhance current monitoring capabilities.

Implement enterprise observability and Artificial Intelligence for IT Operations (AIOps) technologies and processes.

Maintain and optimize existing monitoring infrastructure ensuring reliability and performance.

Lead and mentor a team of engineers in best practices related to observability and monitoring.

Develop and maintain documentation for observability frameworks processes and technologies.

Conduct regular assessments and audits of the observability tools and platforms to ensure compliance with security standards.
Qualifications:
-
Experience: Minimum of 7 years in an enterpriselevel infrastructure environment with at least 2 years focused on enterpriselevel monitoring and logging technologies.

Technical Skills:
-
Extensive knowledge of observability and monitoring tools (e.g. Datadog Zabbix New Relic Prometheus Grafana ELK Stack).

Proficiency in cloud platforms and services (AWS Azure GCP).

Experience with AIOps solutions to automate monitoring processes and improve incident response.

Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:
