Manage the performance of all employees within the Sales Business Units and Projects to ensure all targets set are achieved.
Coach and mentor team members.
Conduct regular team meetings.
Conduct JCAs performance review process with direct reports.
Resolve employee issues &/or conflicts according to JCAs policies and procedures.
Conduct skill set analysis within the business units to identify learning and development opportunities.
Recruit and select qualified candidates for any vacancies within the business unit in accordance with JCA policies and procedures.
Conduct regular workforce analysis and make recommendations on restructuring training or recruitment and selection.
Reward and recognise the achievements of the teams and/or individuals through financial and nonfinancial mediums.
Set review and measure the individuals KPIs in accordance to the businesses objectives.
Lead process and cultural change.
Promote continuous improvement in the change process
Communicate and enforce John Crane Australia policies and procedures.
Develop and implement team building exercises.
Strategic Planning and Forecasting
Understand John Crane Australias market and develop new strategic solutions.
Develop and implement short term and long term business growth strategies to achieve the sales goals.
Provide accurate quarterly and annual business forecasts and achieve these targets.
Own metrics to analyse and track business performance (Market share / penetration competitiveness cost analysis; market product service strategy requirements) and communicate them with internal departments.
Conduct comprehensive market analysis and identify new business opportunities.
Develop new commercial business and expand existing end user and OEM business.
Manage end user and OEM business in Australia; identify and create additional partnership opportunities.
Develop promote and implement PLM strategies to maximise all profit opportunities and operational efficiencies inline with JCA and AP business goals.
Preparation negotiation and approval of business development opportunities.
Review of price calculation and contract feasibility.
Customer contract management.
Negotiate and close complex deals that benefits John Crane Australia.
Identify and manage all business risks in Sales Business Units Projects and Business development opportunities.
Oversee the development of commercial business solutions inline with AP and JCA business objectives.
Manage and lead the utilisation of SAP as an effective sales and marketing tool.
Effectively manage relationships with internal and external clients.
Actively work within the sales process by contributing relevant expertise to all levels of the business.
Plan and implement sales and product training and sales tools to allow JCA sales to operate effectively.
Increase John Cranes top line sales whilst managing margin
Increase John Cranes customer base
Reduce the businesses operation costs
Meet key objectives in line with strategic business plan
