Key Responsibilities
- Support the Finance Director in improving financial operations internal controls and compliance ensuring efficiency and adherence to corporate policies;
- Lead as well as conduct accounting reporting (statutory and management) and FP&A performances for company entities in Australia & New Zealand (ANZ) region ensure accuracy timeliness and compliance with relative regulatory requirements (ANZ GAAP & IFRS);
- Collaborate on financial strategy budgeting forecasting and variance analysis to enhance financial stewardship;
- Synthesize and forecast financial data translating it into meaningful insights for supporting operational and managerial decisionmaking;
- Liaise with external auditors and tax agents to facilitate audits and ensure full compliance with corporate tax GST payroll tax and other statutory requirements in ANZ;
- Facilitate communication and collaboration with international finance teams to improve financial transparency and efficiency;
- Manage and prepare transfer pricing documentation to support intragroup transactions in compliance with local regulations;
- Responsibilities and priorities may evolve based on the future structure and development of the Finance Department.
Key Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
- Chartered Accountancy or similar professional qualification is esseantial
- 5 years of progressive experience in leadership and people management positions
- Preferred proficiency in NetSuite ERP
- Consolidation experience is highly regarded
- FMCG industry and/or international experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills with the propensity to successfully foster new and maintain longstanding business relationships
- Ability to prioritize and delegate responsibilities in an effective and efficient manner
- Outstanding integrity solid moral judgment and the ability to make important decisions under pressure
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in both English and Chinese is preferred.
