Job Description
A leading AIdriven technology company is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead their frontend and backend development teams. This organization specializes in transforming legacy systems into modern scalable solutions for enterprise clients ensuring they stay competitive in todays fastpaced digital landscape. This role requires a strong technical background leadership expertise and the ability to manage and scale remote teams effectively. The Engineering Manager will report directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and play a key role in shaping software architecture driving technical excellence and fostering a highperformance engineering culture.
Important: This is a fulltime remote position for candidates based in Argentina.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a fully remote development team of 20 engineers across frontend and backend disciplines
- Collaborate with CTO and Chief AI Officer to define and execute the technical vision and strategy for our products
- Oversee software architecture and ensure scalability reliability and maintainability of our solutions
- Manage project timelines resource allocation and team deliverables to meet company goals
- Guide the team in adopting best practices for coding testing and DevOps processes
- Foster a collaborative engineering culture that emphasizes continuous improvement and innovation
- Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to team members
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the team
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in computer science software engineering or related field
- 7 years of experience in software engineering with at least 3 years in leadership roles
- Handson experience with both frontend and backend technologies (e.g. React Python)
- Experience with DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines containerization (e.g. Docker Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform Pulumi)
- Strong software architecture expertise with a focus on building scalable and maintainable systems
- Experience with AWS including certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect AWS Certified Developer)
- Proven ability to manage and scale remote engineering teams effectively
- A track record of delivering complex software projects on time and within budget
- Excellent communication leadership and organizational skills
- C1/C2 (advanced/proficient) level English is required
Experience in any of the following is preferred not required:
- Experience working in startups or similar fastpaced environments
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts tools and applications
- Strong understanding of security best practices for cloudbased applications
