Job Description
Title: Industrial Engineer
Pay Rate: $151000 $249000 per year (salary stock options & potential signon bonus)
Employment Type: FullTime
Location: Hayward CA
Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Industrial Engineer to work onsite with our client an innovative leader in autonomous mobility. This role is critical to designing and executing logistics operations within the manufacturing footprint and distribution center operations. You will play a key role in optimizing material flow driving operational efficiency and ensuring seamless new product launches. Responsibilities:
Warehouse & Manufacturing Layout Optimization

Develop efficient warehouse and manufacturing lineside layouts to optimize material flow storage capacity and operational efficiency.

Utilize industrial best practices to create layouts that minimize cost and maximize productivity.
New Product Launch & Logistics Integration

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate new products into supply chain operations.

Manage material flow inventory and transportation requirements for new product launches.
Process Optimization & Cost Reduction
-
Identify opportunities for process improvements including lean initiatives automation and technology integration.

Lead or participate in crossfunctional projects aimed at reducing costs and improving efficiency.
Material Flow & Inventory Strategy

Conduct detailed material flow analysis to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.

Implement strategies to streamline material flow reduce lead times and optimize inventory levels.
Performance Tracking & Collaboration
-
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure logistics performance.

Work with procurement production transportation and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless logistics coordination.

Act as a liaison between departments driving effective communication and alignment of objectives.
HandsOn Leadership & Process Implementation

Provide training and handson support for implementing process improvements.

Engage in problemsolving and troubleshooting to drive operational excellence.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering Logistics Supply Chain Management or a related field.

6 years of experience in logistics and industrial engineering.

Strong expertise in warehouse design material flow analysis and new product launches.

Proficiency in lean principles CAD (AutoCAD preferred) time studies and simulation software.
Bonus Qualifications:

Masters degree in Industrial Engineering Supply Chain Management or related field.

8 years of experience in logistics and industrial engineering.
-
Experience with SAP.
