Your new role

As our new Consultant you will be part of our interdisciplinary Raleigh North Carolina team. You will work with all levels of expertise from juniorlevel team members to members with decades of experience many of whom are subject matter experts in their fields. Consultants and Managers are part of a continual learning environment where they learn through coaching mentoring and onthejob tasks.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Conducting Occupation Health Exposure Assessments and indoor Air Quality Assessments
• Asbestos Mold and Lead Assessments and Remediation Project Oversight
• Interpreting industrial hygiene results as compared to OSHA PELs and ACGIH TLVs and other applicable regulatory standards and guidlines.
• Critically reviewing and interpreting Indoor air quality industry recommendations and governmental regulations and guidelines.
• Maintaining client relationships and managing the development of deliverables to meet client needs in an efficient manner.

About you

• BS/MS in a relevant engineering discipline (industrial hygiene occupation safety or closely related) or science discipline (chemical environmental science or closely related).
• 2 years of relevant industrial hygiene or indoor air quality experience is required.
• Strong mathematical/computational skills including highlevel use of spreadsheets and word processing and effective written/verbal communication and organization/analytical skills.
• Current or interest in pursuing North Carolina AHERACertified Asbestos Inspector certification
• Advanced training in mold assessment and remediation
• Experience recording/writing detailed technical data and reports.
• Candidates must be willing to perform shortterm travel up to 40% of the time on average during the year and possess a valid drivers license. Travel may include overnight stay and may be out of state.
