Job Description
Job Title: EHR Training Specialist
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement EHR training programs for healthcare professionals and administrative staff.
- Create training materials including user guides elearning modules and instructional videos.
- Conduct onsite and virtual training sessions for new and existing users.
- Assess user proficiency and provide personalized support to improve EHR adoption.
- Work closely with IT teams and clinical staff to understand workflow requirements.
- Provide golive support during EHR system rollouts and upgrades.
- Troubleshoot user issues and escalate technical problems as needed.
- Stay updated on EHR best practices system enhancements and compliance requirements.
- Gather user feedback and recommend system improvements to optimize workflows.
- Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration Health Informatics IT or a related field.
- Experience in EHR training implementation or support.
- Strong knowledge of EHR platforms such as Epic Cerner Meditech or Allscripts.
- Experience designing and delivering instructional materials and training programs.
- Excellent communication presentation and adult learning facilitation skills.
- Experience in HIPAA regulations and healthcare workflows.
- Ability to adapt training for diverse learning styles and technical proficiency levels.
- Certification in Epic Cerner or other EHR systems.
- Experience with LMS (Learning Management Systems) or elearning tools.
- Background in clinical or healthcare IT support.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
