Job Description
- Prepare cost estimates cashflow and project schedule for projects during the bidding stage
- Prepare technical methodology or method statement to meet the clients technical evaluation criteria.
- Compile or review team documentation (CVs qualifications certification etc.) to meet the tender/proposal technical requirements.
- Liaise with third parties and internal divisions such as Health and Safety quality C&I Electrical and others to meet the tender requirements in time.
- Establish the overall index of the whole proposal and review it with the
- Proposal/Bids Manager to establish the overall strategy and approach to the preparation of the proposal.
- Lead the technical proposals discussions during kickoff and scopereview sessions with partners/internal resources and gain agreements on responsibilities.
- Attend site visits or briefing meetings as and when required to become acquainted with site conditions and take account of these in the Technical Proposal.
- Assist the Proposal Administrator or Bids Coordinator in compiling or filing the technical proposal to its final format hard and electronic copies for submission purposes.
- Respond to technical clarification requests received from clients.
Requirements
- NDip/BTech or Higher in Electrical Engineering
- At least 7 years of experience in tendering and proposal development environment.
- Experience of dealing with complex tenders for roads and buildings.
- Knowledge of the PPPFA and PFMA will be an added advantage
