Job Description
My client is seeking a Junior Mechatronics Engineer to support the development and integration of control systems combining electrical mechanical and automation technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Control System Design & Development:
- Assist in designing and integrating automation and motion control systems with mechanical components.
- Support the development of electrical schematics and wiring diagrams for machine integration.
Electrical & Programming:
- Interpret and create detailed electrical drawings to support control systems.
- Install and maintain electrical wiring and control system components according to safety standards.
- Participate in the programming and configuration of PLCs servo drives and automation controllers.
Project Management & Technical Support:
- Manage smallscale projects independently from concept to completion.
- Perform technical calculations and simulations to support engineering projects.
- Assist with testing commissioning and optimization of automation systems.
Health Safety & Quality:
- Ensure all work complies with health safety and quality standards.
- Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and adhere to Food Safety System Certification (FSSC) standards where applicable.
SelfDevelopment & Growth:
- Stay updated on new technologies and industry advancements.
- Develop problemsolving and project management skills to enhance career growth.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma or Bachelors degree in Mechatronics Engineering or a related technical field.
- 12 years of relevant experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of technical drawings electrical schematics and automation systems.
