Our Account Managers play a critical role on the Macmillan Learning sales team. They ensure customers have the tools and resources they need as instructors from test bank access to invoice corrections to faculty training. Account Managers bridge the gap between our sales reps and our customer support team. They try to anticipate instructor and administrator needs before they arise so every Macmillan customer has a great experience. That means Account Managers sometimes deal with complex customer service issues acting as a project manager and navigating multiple internal departments with or on behalf of our customers. Our Account Managers work closely with a group of field sales reps and are responsible for the ongoing success of the existing business in the assigned territory. Teamwork collaboration and communication are all keys to success in this position. The primary goals of this position are to support existing business and to identify new sales opportunities within an assigned territory.
To be successful in this role an Account Manager must have the ability to connect and engage with customers as well as to regularly demonstrate competency in the following areas:

Salary Range: $50000 $55000
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to concentrate and multitask for long periods of time in a noisy/busy environment. Must be able to travel and work more than 40 hours per week as needed.
