Job Description
Please Note:
- This is a 100% OnSite position.
- Hours: This Position will allow 40.00 hours per week. Please do not assume that overtime will be allowed.
- Duration: 12 Months
Summary of Position:
- The client has an opening for a Salesforce Developer.
- The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions that meet business needs
Job Duties:
- Design develop test and deploy custom Salesforce solutions.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements translating them into technical specifications.
- Customize and configure Salesforce applications to meet business needs including creating custom objects fields workflows and validation rules.
- Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other systems using APIs and middleware.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce applications ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
- Create and maintain technical documentation including design specifications code comments and user guides.
- Stay uptodate with Salesforce releases features and best practices and implement improvements as necessary.
- Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for coding testing and deployment.
Requirements
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science or a related field.
- 4 years of experience as a software developer.
- 12 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer
- At least 4 years of experience with .NET Framework 3.5 or higher and IIS 7.5 or higher.
- At least 4 years of experience writing complex queries in TSQL.
- At least 4 years of experience developing reports using SSRS.
- 4 Experience developing web applications in C# using MVC XML and creating and consuming WCF/REST services/WebAPI.
- Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with crossfunctional teams.
- Ability to meet deadlines goals and objectives within timeline.
- Experience working with City of New York agencies is a plus
