Job Description
Systems Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Primary system administrator for customdeveloped full stack web application
- Support and enhance DevSecOps & CI/CD pipelines
- Own maintain and document all resource/service accounts and AD groups
- Annual attestation and password changes
- Document usage and password change process
- Build and maintain CMDB config including:
- Configuration items to represent system components
- Support & Ticketing groups
- Change management
- Provide Tier 2 technical support post golive
- Ensure database & system integrity stability and security
- Participate in architecture and solution design throughout project phases
- Be a technical SME for business support & stakeholders
- Data integration design & support
Must have experience with:
- Service Now (CMDB change mgmt ticketing)
- DevOps especially CI/CD and automated build/deployment pipelines
- Linux bash YAML
- Container orchestration and deployment
- AWS
- Relational databases
- Supporting large production databases with uptime and resiliency requirements
- Web technologies certificates & encryption OAuth OpenID Connect HTTP servers
- Data mapping between systems & data integration patterns
Nice to have:
- Experience managing & contributing to git repositories and CI/CD in GitLab specifically
- Experience with Jira & Confluence
- Experience with Vagrant virtual machines
- Experience with GitOps tools
- Experience with full stack web development languages and frameworks: JavaScript (React TypeScript jest/vitest)
- Python (Django Google ORTools)
- AWS Certification (Cloud Practitioner or Solution Architect)
- UI/UX tools like Figma or Adobe XD

We are seeking an experienced and wellrounded web developer with a deep knowledge and proficiency with React.js to join our team.
Job Responsibilities
- Enhancing a full stack web application to meet business requirements and incorporate stakeholder feedback
- Translating UI/UX designs into reusable and performant UI components
- Identifying opportunities to improve performance and maintainability
- Improving development processes methodologies and automation
- Participating in code reviews to maintain code quality and maintainability
- Participating in agile backlog refinement and planning
Must have:
- At least 5 years of experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript
- At least 3 years of experience with React & TypeScript
- Experience with React frameworks like Remix & Next.js
- Mastery of key React concepts like hooks context refs state
- Experience implementing complex and detailed UI designs using CSS
- At least 2 years of experience with Python
- Experience writing automated unit tests
- Experience with DevOps especially CI/CD and automated build/deployment pipelines
- Experience with Linux bash YAML
- Experience with container orchestration and deployment
- Experience with relational databases
- Experience with data mapping between systems & data integration patterns
Nice to have:
- Experience with the Django Python framework specifically ORM & REST
- Experience with Jira & Confluence
- Experience with Vagrant virtual machines
- Experience with GitOps tools
- AWS experience and certification
- Experience with UI/UX tools like Figma or Adobe XD
