Job Description

Role purpose

  • Ensure customer ontime delivery for a given portfolio (both within and outside AMEA & JANZ) via seamless E2E communication throughout the Supply Chain (AI Planners regional planners production sites customer service distribution) actively work with the CP P&S organization.
  • To create and maintain the overall AI & FF&P supply plan across region for assigned portfolio providing options to meet variances in demand and supply
  • Clearly communicate constrains in the supply chain via tier meetings processes and implement alternative solutions via Syngenta processes and understand customer constraints and issues through planning role in order to coordinate actions through portfolio planners to ensure country requirements are met.

Accountabilities

  • Maintain balance of overall supply/demand requirements for their portfolio (as well aligning and supporting asset planners in the shortterm horizon.
  • Plan all products within their portfolio according to Global and AMEA Planning processes and policies. Manage the monthly Requirements & Operations Planning (ROP) meeting with the Production sites for assigned portfolio 
  • Create and maintain balanced supplydemand plans for the operational 0 to 36mth horizon anticipate supply constraints and drive proactive crossfunctional and crossgeography communication and collaboration
  • Work in partnership with Supply Chain managers Global & Regional CP planners Asset planners and Demand Managers to ensure the optimization of demand/supply as well inventory throughout the regional supply chain (AI raw materials bulk and finished products)
  • Review requirements in SAP/APO for assigned portfolio/AIs and ensure that it is up to date. Follow up with IMCs on purchase orders/ production orders for finished packs/ Intermediate; place Tolling POs to Toller according to production plan and/or against demand POs.
  • Review of SAP/APO master data with country planners periodically and ensure timely update of changes including efficient introduction and removal of products (SKUs) according to the Range Management Process.
  • Supply Planning for SPS Direct sales business for Asia CU: PO creation in SAP maintaining record on excel sheets track/follow up on delivery timelines with logistics operations
  • Manage the monthly Requirements & Operations Planning (ROP) meeting with the 3rd party supplier and Order Manager.  Within this report production performance (Conformance to Plan) and other Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to Quality lost opportunities & sales.
  • Liaise with Hub Order managers to support any challenges with order placements/supply flows
  • Act as SME (System and process) for assigned planning process for region SPS scope

Qualifications :

Critical knowledge & experience

 

  • Strong working knowledge of Supply Chain tools and processes including planning excellence new product introduction S&OP and Hubbing
  • S&OP Business Processes
  • At least 25 years exposure in a Supply Chain and/or Planning environment
  • Experience of the key interfaces within a Supply Chain
  • Planning parameters master data management and data integrity
  • Understanding of supply chain planning MRPII principles
