Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Group Business Manager to join our Total TV team on a 12month paternity cover.
In this role youll lead the Metro TV and Digital Sales Team for Dentsu IPG Mediabrands and a number of independent Melbourne Media agencies to develop innovative crossmedia advertising solutions. Youll be part of a dynamic highperforming and energetic sales team that pushes boundaries and leads the way in the media industry!
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver against group revenue targets
- Provide Sales leadership and direction to the team
- Represent the Nine brand within the market having a strong and reputable market presence
- Clear understanding of all of Nines wider products spanning Broadcast Publishing and Radio
- Develop and execute on a team revenue plan (quarterly and annual)
- Proactively Identify and pursue business opportunities for generating revenue
- Provide accurate team revenue forecasting
- Other duties as reasonably required
PEOPLE LEADER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide leadership and direction to the team
- Set clear expectations
- Ensure and encourage a free flow of information across departments
- Coach and develop staff
- Support a workplace culture based on trust
- Meets Nines company standards
- Provide and supports a safe workplace environment
Qualifications :
Essential experience & skills
- Possess strong commercial acumen
- Negotiating and influencing skills
- Experience leading a team
- Strong communication and exceptional presentation skills
- Proven experience in building and maintaining strong relationships internally and externally
- Digital Media Skills
- Ability to work in a faced past environment and adapt and be flexible to change leading your team through change
Desirable experience & skills
- Programmatic Media skills
- Understanding of the Data Landscape
- Exposure to Broadcast and other Media
