Job Description

Le dpartement des services de vente au dtail collabore avec nos nombreux clients du commerce au dtail pour cultiver des relations de partenariat valeur ajoute. Lobjectif est de devenir la principale source dinformations commerciales pour les dtaillants.

En tant quanalyste excutif vous serez charg de crer de la valeur pour le client en comprenant et en mettant en uvre les priorits cls et les objectifs commerciaux et en vous engageant envers ceuxci. Vous serez responsable de lencadrement de lquipe danalystes afin dobtenir des analyses et des recommandations pertinentes qui aideront le dtaillant atteindre ses objectifs commerciaux. Vous serez charg de dvelopper une forte comprhension de la stratgie du client et des priorits de lentreprise et de coordonner tous les services de Nielsen et les quipes analytiques pour aider rsoudre ces problmes commerciaux. Vous serez expos toutes les facettes du dtaillant et travaillerez dans un environnement dquipe o vous dvelopperez des relations solides avec votre propre quipe et au sein de lorganisation du client. Vous agirez en tant que liaison entre NielsenIQ et le dtaillant ainsi quen tant que chef de projet pour diverses initiatives.

Le candidat idal devra possder :

  • Diplme dtudes postsecondaires en affaires ou dans un domaine connexe
  • 5 ans et plus dexprience en recherche/analyse dans les secteurs des produits de grande consommation et de la vente au dtail
  • Ce poste ncessite des communications crites et orales frquentes en anglais avec les membres de lquipe et les clients qui sont lextrieur du Qubec.
  • Solides comptences en matire de prsentation et de communication avec les cadres du client
  • Fortes comptences en tablissement et en gestion de relations avec les clients
  • Comptences analytiques dmontres avec une capacit avre interprter et intgrer des donnes pour fournir des recommandations concrtes axes sur les dtaillants
  • Aptitude chercher des moyens de remettre en cause le statu quo
  • Capacit mener plusieurs tches de front et prendre des dcisions de manire indpendante en adoptant une approche audacieuse souple et collaborative de la rsolution de problmes
  • Fluidit technique avec une forte manipulation de donnes comptences avec Excel et capacit de tirer parti de la technologie en tant que facilitateur
  • Familiarit avec lutilisation de Power BI ou Tableau
  • Responsable ax sur les rsultats et ouvert aux nouvelles ides et lapprentissage continu
  • Crer de manire proactive des ides innovantes qui remettent en cause le statu quo
  • Forte mentalit de vente avec la capacit dinfluencer et de cultiver des relations solides avec les clients
  • Connaissances pratiques des produits et services de NielsenIQ un atout
  • Exprience pralable de lencadrement et du mentorat des membres de lquipe un atout

Hybrid role candidates must currently be located in the greater Montreal area with ability to commute to and work inperson at the Retailer client location in the greater Montreal area on a weekly basis 

The Retail Services department works together with our many Retailer Clients to cultivate valueadded partnership relationships.  The goal is to become the primary and leading source of business insights for Retailers.

As an Executive Analyst you will  be responsible for driving client value through engagement understanding and implementing key priorities and business objectives.   You will be responsible for  coaching the Analyst team to derive  insightful analysis and recommendations that will help the Retailer achieve its  business goals.   You will be charged with developing a strong understanding of client strategy and business priorities and engage all NielsenIQ services and analytic teams to assist in addressing those business issues.   You will be exposed to all facets of the Retailer and will work within a team environment where you will develop solid relationships with your own team and within the client organization.  You will act as a liaison between NielsenIQ and the Retailer as well as project lead on various initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Post secondary degree in Business or a related field
  • 5 years of research/analytical experience within the CPG/Retail industries
  • This position requires frequent written and verbal communication with team members and clients in English outside of Quebec
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with Senior Leaders at the client
  • Strong relationship building/management skills
  • Demonstrated analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret and integrate data  to provide actionable Retailer focused recommendations
  • The aptitude to look for ways to challenge the status quo
  •  Ability to multitask and capable of independent decision making with a bold nimble and collaborative approach to problem solving
  • Technically fluid with strong data manipulation Excel skills and the ability to leverage technology as an enabler
  •  Familiarity with using Power BI and/or Tableau
  • Accountable results driven and open to new ideas and ongoing learning
  •  Proactively create innovative insights that challenge the status quo
  •  Strong sales mindset with the ability to influence and build strong client relationships
  • Working knowledge of NielsenIQ products and services an asset
  • Previous experience coaching and mentoring team members an asset
