About the Role
As the EHS Lead you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards while fostering a culture of safety and sustainability.
You will also lead our ISO 14001: 2015 work and together with Head of Quality support the management systems 9001/14001 since its effective to coordinate Quality and Environmental activities in the same way.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining ISO systems (9001 and 14001) ensuring adherence to certification requirements.
- Monitoring and verifying corrective actions related to ISO standards and EHS protocols.
- KPI reporting in line with global Quality and EHS requirements.
- Providing guidance and support to ensure compliance with legal corporate and regulatory demands.
- Leading initiatives in emergency preparedness and obtaining permits for environmentally hazardous activities.
- Partnering with crossfunctional teams to establish robust management systems and drive continuous improvement.
What Were Looking For
We are searching for a resultsdriven professional who brings expertise and enthusiasm to the role. The ideal candidate has:
- A Bachelors or Masters degree in Environmental/Quality Management Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Significant experience in highrisk manufacturing environments with a preference for backgrounds in the chemical industry.
- Proficiency in Swedish occupational safety regulations and ISO 9001:2015/14001:2015.
- Proven leadership in establishing and managing EHS programs and systems.
- Experience conducting internal audits and leading EHSrelated training sessions.
- Fluency in Swedish and English both spoken and written.
- Strong project management and problemsolving skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders effectively.

- Documented success in implementing EHS strategies and obtaining environmental permits.
