Job Description
WellDev is a young dynamic company that is passionate about developing and operating software applications. We are entrepreneurially driven and are currently looking for an experienced leader for our design team.
We are located at Zurich Airport with a great view and have a total of 4 locations worldwide.
Due to the nature of this role: A key requirement for this job is willingness to work 100% on site and 0% home office.
Tasks
- Design Team Strategy: Align your department to the company goals to ensure best possible cooperation within the organization.
- Design Team Leader: Lead a team of 10 UI UX design professionals ensuring their continuous development and right use of their strengths. Give proactive and helpful feedback to the whole team.
- UI UX Development: Inform yourself about new trends and innovation to develop new best practices.
- Collaboration and Communication: You are responsible for collaboration with the Marketing Sales and other teams and stakeholder from within the organization.
- User Experience: You are responsible for the final GOlive of all designs and that they achieve the best possible user experience and outstand other more general UI UX solution provided by other companies.
- Business Impact: You define KPIs to track the success of your team and report them in a structured way to the executive board.
Requirements
- Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science (mandatory)
- Being the owner of an application that was in productive use
- Proven experience in leading a team both on site and remote team members from around the globe
- 4 years of experience in project management and especially software development frameworks such as scrum
- Track record of successful personal development support of employees
- 2 years of direct customer contact experience with Swiss companies
- 5 years of experience in UI UX Design
- Fluent in English
- It is mandatory to have deep understanding and excellent track record of the following tools: Figma Adobe XD & Creative Suite Sketch Jira Github
