Job Description
Position Name: Travel XRay Technologist
Location: Towson MD 21204
Start Date: ASAP
Employment Type: Fulltime Travel Contract Temporary
Length: 13 weeks plus extensions Accepting Local and Travel Candidates
Pay Rate: Range $2400 to $2480 weekly Gross pay (Nontaxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)
Unit: XRay
Shifts available: Days
Shift timings: 8 Hours; Days 7.30 am 4.00 pm
Schedule: 40 hours/week guaranteed 5 X 8hr shifts per week Monday Friday
Position Requirements:
- Recent current XRay Tech experience: 2 years Required
- Covid Vaccination Required (No exemptions)
Education License and Certification Requirements:
- ARRT License Required
- BLS Certifications from AHA Required
Job Description:
- Under general supervision operates conventional fluoroscopic and portable radiology equipment to obtain quality radiographic images.
- Positions patients and adjusts xray equipment to correct setting for each examination and assists physicians in the performance of examinations by mixing and preparing contrast media assisting in sterile procedures in the like.
- Other job duties that fall within scope of practice and skillset as assigned
