Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team in Arana Hills. As a key member of our management team you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant delivering exceptional customer service and leading our staff to success.

  • Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations and maintaining high standards of food quality and service
  • Lead and motivate the team during busy service periods fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
  • Conduct staff training and development programmes to enhance skills and maintain service excellence
  • Proactively improve guest experience through innovative solutions and attentive service
  • Assist in inventory management including stock control and ordering supplies
  • Support financial management tasks such as cash handling reconciliations and basic reporting
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations hygiene standards and company policies
  • Handle customer enquiries feedback and complaints in a professional and empathetic manner
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain menu quality and consistency
  • Participate in staff scheduling and rota management to ensure optimal coverage
  • Assist in implementing marketing initiatives and promotional activities

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience leading a team within a busy highvolume hospitality environment
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for inspiring leading and developing team members
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene standards
  • Proficiency in restaurant management software and pointofsale systems
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
  • Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking skills
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities
  • Adaptability and resilience in a fastpaced environment
  • Basic financial acumen and understanding of restaurant operations
  • Food handling certification (desirable)
  • Relevant qualification in hospitality management or related field (preferred)
