Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced driver to provide safe comfortable and professional transportation services. The ideal candidate should have excellent driving skills a good knowledge of road networks and a strong sense of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport the employer to various destinations as required.
- Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the vehicle ensuring it is always in good condition.
- Conduct routine checks on the vehicle (fuel oil water battery brakes tires etc.) and schedule maintenance as needed.
- Plan routes efficiently considering traffic weather and road conditions.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and road regulations.
- Assist the employer with loading/unloading items as necessary.
- Ensure the vehicle is parked safely at designated locations.
- Keep records of trips including mileage fuel consumption and maintenance schedules.
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion regarding the employer s activities and personal matters.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the employer.
Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE/WASSCE or equivalent.
- Valid driver s license and clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a personal driver.
- Familiarity with City/State road networks and traffic regulations.
- Ability to use GPS navigation and map applications.
- Punctual courteous and professional demeanor.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Strong sense of responsibility and attention to safety.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
