Work Hours: 8:00 AM 5:00PM
Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting personnel goods and materials safely and efficiently while maintaining a professional demeanor and ensuring adherence to traffic regulations.
Requirements
Job Responsibilities:
- Safely operate assigned vehicles to transport staff goods or materials to designated locations.
- Maintain cleanliness and regular upkeep of vehicles to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance or repair needs promptly.
- Plan routes and follow time schedules to meet delivery or transportation deadlines.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company policies regarding driving and safety.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods when required.
- Maintain accurate logs of daily trips fuel usage and vehicle performance.
- Provide excellent customer service ensuring passengers and clients are treated with respect and courtesy.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum educational qualification: e.g. Secondary School Certificate/ ND/HND/BSC
- Valid driver s license with a clean driving record.
- Someone in relatively good health with proven good eye sight
- A mature married man within the age range of 35 45yrs
- A driver of experience who has preferably worked in a multinational company embassy or bank
- Ideally living within a 10 mile radius of Palm Grove
- Proven experience as a professional driver.
- Familiarity with local routes and road networks.
- Ability to operate a variety of vehicles including manual and automatic transmissions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Punctual reliable and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays when required.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance is an added advantage.
