Key Responsibilities
- The Vascular Physiologist must possess a comprehensive understanding of the various techniques and wide array of equipment employed in contemporary medical practice. This knowledge is essential for effectively diagnosing treating and providing optimal care to patients.
- This position reports directly to the Chief II Vascular Physiologist and is responsible for developing planning organizing and implementing the service
- Ensuring the maintenance of clinical standards and patient care is paramount.
- Assume responsibility for overseeing the orientation and training requirements of the personnel within the department.
- The individual promptly reports any malfunctions as they occur according to the hospitals policy.
Requirements
- BSc in Clinical Measurement or Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement (Dublin Institute of Technology Kevin Street Dublin) or equivalent.
- Have not less than five years postqualification experience in a Vascular Department.
- Possess Advanced Life Support.
- Good general knowledge of Vascular.
