We are Hiring Senior Grade Respiratory Physiologist for our Hospital client in Dublin.

Responsibilities
- Assume Responsibility For The Staff And Services For The Pulmonary Laboratory When The Chief II And Chief I Respiratory Physiologists Are Absent
- Support The Chief II & Chief I Respiratory Physiologists In Maintaining Best Practice In The Management Of The Service In The Pulmonary And Sleep Laboratories
- Ensure That Clinical And Patient Care Standards Are Adhered Always
- Follow Hospital Policies And Procedures Always
- Conduct A Comprehensive Range Of Clinical Tests Within Established Guidelines And Follow All Departmental Protocols To Provide Accurate Test Results Including:
- Spirometry Reversibility DLCO Static Lung Volumes (MultiBreath And Body Plethysmography) Muscle Strength Tests And Skin Allergy Tests In The Pulmonary Laboratory.
Requirements
- Possess the BSc in Clinical Measurement from Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin) or Dublin Institute of Technology (D.I.T) or Ulster University or
- Possess an equivalent relevant scientific qualification (Level 8) as confirmed by the Irish Institute of Clinical Measurement Science (IICMS) / in the process of registration Or if qualified in or prior to 2005;
- Possess the Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement (MPPM) from DIT Or
- An equivalent scientific level 8 qualification as confirmed by the IICMS
- Have good communication skills as the post involves a great deal of contact with patients and with other colleagues
- Have experience in Pulmonary Physiology. Senior grades will require to have three years post qualification experience.
- Can work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
- IICMP: have registration / in the process of registration for 2025.
- Clinical experience in Mannitol airway testing and CPET testing.
