The school founded in 2016 is a K12 international school located at the foot of the picturesque and historic YuQuan Mountain Haidian District in Beijing. The campus is 200000 square meters of beautiful gardens that integrate natural ecology cultural heritage and modern beauty with 140000 square meters of green space.
The school curriculum is organized into the Elementary School grades K5 the Middle School grades 68 and High School grades 912. Under the guidance of the Ministry of Educations nineyear compulsory education program the curriculum is built on the strength of both Chinese and Western education.
For Elementary and Middle School the school follows a bilingual program using the US Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards along with the Chinese National Curriculum. For High School the school follows the US Common Core and College Board AP curriculum and also offers the UK IGCSE and ALevel UK programs.
Qualifications and Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Fouryear degree from an accredited university
- Bachelor of Education PGCE Teaching license: QTS national/state teaching license/certificate or equivalent
- Three years of experience teaching science in a bilingual school international school or government/state school
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Development & Instruction:
- Plan develop and deliver engaging and comprehensive science lessons aligned with international curriculum standards.
- Utilize innovative teaching methodologies including technology integration and inquirybased learning to enhance student understanding.
- Foster a classroom environment that encourages scientific curiosity experimentation and handson learning.
Student Development & Assessment:
- Assess and monitor student progress through formative and summative assessments.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students supporting their academic growth and confidence in scientific concepts.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of students.
Collaboration & Professional Development:
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop crosscurricular projects and maintain consistency in science instruction across grade levels.
- Stay current with developments in science education and integrate best practices into the classroom.
- Participate in professional development opportunities schoolwide initiatives and departmental meetings.
Parent Communication & Extracurricular Activities:
- Establish and maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress and learning experiences.
- Participate in parentteacher conferences and provide detailed feedback on student academic performance.
- Engage in extracurricular activities science clubs and school events to enrich student experiences beyond the classroom.
Remuneration & Benefits
The salary and benefits package provided is highly competitive depending on the qualifications and experiences of the successful candidate.
