Job Description
JOB PURPOSE
- To analyze and interpret business data to provide actionable insights that drive decisionmaking and improve business performance.
- To collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements define KPIs and deliver datadriven solutions.
- To design implement and maintain data models reports and dashboards that support strategic goals.
- To ensure data accuracy integrity and quality across systems and reporting processes.
- To identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of data governance
best practices.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends patterns and insights that support business objectives.
- Develop and maintain reports dashboards and visualizations to communicate key findings to stakeholders.
- Gather document and validate business requirements from stakeholders to inform datadriven solutions.
- Collaborate with IT data engineers and other teams to ensure data systems meet business needs and requirements.
- Design and implement data models that align with business goals and improve decisionmaking processes.
- Conduct data quality checks to ensure the accuracy completeness and integrity of business data.
- Provide ongoing support for the creation and improvement of data collection reporting and analysis processes.
- Assist in identifying and implementing data governance practices and standards.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to bridge any knowledge gaps.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and data utilization.
- In addition to the primary responsibilities the employee may be required to perform any other tasks that may be assigned from time to time
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in Business Information Systems Computer Science Data Analytics or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst focusing on data analysis business intelligence or datadriven decisionmaking.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g. Excel Tableau Power BI etc.).
- Strong knowledge of SQL and data querying techniques.
- Familiarity with databases data warehousing and ETL processes.
- Experience with analytics platforms or programming languages (e.g. Python R SAS) is a plus.
- Understanding of business processes and the ability to link data insights to business outcomes.
- Strong problemsolving and analytical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to explain complex data concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Selfmotivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g. Hadoop Spark).
- Knowledge of machine learning models and predictive analytics.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in Agile environments.
