Responsible for providing quality repair preventive maintenance service and complete installation and relocation startup service of complex electromechanical and electronic systems at customer sites. Perform analytical problemsolving at the component level. Troubleshoot equipment problems and conduct diagnostic procedures to isolate problems and take steps to minimize downtime or system interruptions and eliminate equipment malfunctions. Determine corrective actions as required. Install and/or relocate equipment at customers sites. Conduct associated startup cut over and checkout activities on the newly installed system. Remain up to date on equipment/tools through appropriate training manuals factory periodicals and other relevant materials. Maintain records and reports as required to properly coordinate activities with peers supervisors(s) and customers. Perform field modifications and updates as released in Engineering Change Notifications. Provide technical instruction and leadership on installs repairs operations and calibrations. 40 hrs/week MonFri 8:30 a.m. 5:30 p.m.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Electronic Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related field plus two (2) years of repair maintenance and installation experience of complex electromechanical and electronic systems. Alternatively will accept four (4) years of repair maintenance and installation experience of complex electromechanical and electronic systems.Must have 1 year of experience in installation maintenance repair and troubleshooting of semiconductor capital equipment.Must have 1 year of experience interpreting operation manuals to determine root cause of tool failures.Must have 1 year of experience in: deposition systems; failure mode analysis; helium leak detection technique; pneumatics; vacuum fundamentals; or robotics.Must have 1 year of experience working from electrical and mechanical schematics and diagrams.Travel required to client sites in the Austin TX area up to 90%.
