Job Title: Photo Editor

About Us
We are a small but growing creative photography and video production company based in Toronto ON primarily serving clients across Canada and the USA. Our remote team of four is expanding and we are looking for a skilled Photo Editor to support our increasing workload.
About the Role
We need a detailoriented Photo Editor with strong experience in retouching a variety of photography styles including portraits events lifestyle product photography and interiors. You’ll be responsible for ensuring highquality polished images that align with our brand and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and retouch portraits corporate lifestyle shots event photography product images food and interiors.
- Use Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop for color correction exposure adjustments and retouching.
- Apply advanced retouching techniques including masking AI tools object removal and compositing in Photoshop.
- Ensure a clean natural and professional aesthetic with an eye for tone color balance and distraction removal.
- Match our editing style based on feedback and client requirements.
- Manage multiple projects and adjust editing scope based on project needs.
- Work collaboratively with our team to meet deadlines and maintain consistency.
Core Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in professional photo editing across multiple photography types.
- Expertlevel skills in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop including advanced retouching masking and cleanup techniques.
- Strong eye for detail composition and color correction.
- Ability to remove distracting elements and enhance images while maintaining a natural look.
- Comfortable using AIpowered tools for efficient retouching.
- Strong time management and communication skills to handle multiple projects.
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have but Not Required)
- Experience with Adobe Illustrator or graphic design.
- Familiarity with Capture One.
- A good sense of design and branding.
