Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented Photo Editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of the latest photoediting techniques tools and trends. The Photo Editor will be responsible for enhancing images used across various platforms including ecommerce websites social media marketing campaigns and print materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Image Editing: Retouch and enhance photos to meet the company s quality standards including color correction lighting adjustments cropping and composition improvements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the photography and design teams to ensure images align with brand aesthetics and campaign goals.
- Creative Input: Provide suggestions for improving image quality and developing new editing techniques.
- Quality Control: Ensure all images are high resolution properly edited and formatted for various platforms (e.g. website social media print).
- File Management: Organize and maintain the digital photo library for easy access and retrieval.
- Consistency: Ensure visual consistency across all images in line with the brand guidelines.
- Deadlines: Meet daily weekly and monthly deadlines for image uploads and publications.
- Software Use: Utilize advanced photo editing software like Adobe Photoshop Lightroom etc.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2 years of experience in photo editing preferably in ecommerce or fashion industry.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in photo editing software (Adobe Photoshop Lightroom etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and a creative eye.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Photography Graphic Design or a related field.
- Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing previous photo editing work is required.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of video editing or motion graphics.
- Familiarity with website image requirements (Shopify WordPress etc.)
- Experience working in fashion or retail.
